This is what we use here at the store and at Cory's fish room to treat every fish we come into contact with. For us we've never had problems using it with inverts, scaleless fish, and plants. Great for treating Ich, as well as mild fungal infections. We recommend using an airstone in the aquarium when treating with Ich - X.

Commonly used to treat:

• Ich (Ichthyophthirius multifiliis)
• Velvet (Gold Dust Disease)
• Saproleniasis (Cotton Wool Disease)
• Trichondiniasis 
• Fungal Issues
• Protozoan Caused Diseases 

Ingredients: Water, formaldehyde (<5%), methanol (<2%), malachite green chloride (<0.1%)

For best results, we recommend removing chemical filtration from your aquarium filter before dosing the medication. Examples of chemical filtration include activated carbon, carbon-infused media pads, Seachem Purigen, phosphate media pads, and ammonia media pads.

Dosing Instructions for Ich-X:
Add 1 teaspoon (~5mL) for every ten (10) gallons. Every 24 hours, change 1/3 of the water and then re-dose Ich-X. Continue daily treatments until 3 days have passed where where no symptoms are seen.

Dosing Instructions for Pond Ich-X:
Add 1 teaspoon (~5mL) for every 50 gallons. Every 24 hours, change 1/3 of the water and then re-dose Ich-X. Continue daily treatments until 3 days have passed where where no symptoms are seen.
