Backpacker's Pantry Pesto Pasta w/ Chicken

Few dishes are more of a crowd-pleaser than good pesto pasta. This family-friendly staple will keep even the pickiest kids satisfied on any outdoor adventure. Tender white meat chicken provides the protein, and our creamy pesto supplies the healthy fats you need to keep going. Though this pesto is nut-free, the parmesan cheese provides a delicious nutty flavor that is rounded out by roasted garlic and black pepper.

INGREDIENTS
Instant Pasta (Ground Durum Wheat Semolina, Water), Freeze-dried Cooked White Meat Chicken, Dried Parmesan Cheese (Cultured Part-skim Milk, Salt, Enzymes, Disodium Phosphate), Dehydrated Sweet Cream Solids, Whole Milk Solids Powder, Basil, Potato Starch, Parsley, Dried Roasted Garlic, Sea Salt, Dehydrated Garlic, Ground Black Pepper.

PREPARATION & STORAGE
1. Remove and discard oxygen absorber.
2. Add 1 1/2 cups (360mL) of boiling water.
3. Stir well, seal pouch, wait 8 minutes.
4. Stir again, reseal, wait 7 more minutes. Enjoy!
