It’s all about lightweight for kids; all Merida kids bikes have rigid forks as cheap suspension forks tend to work poorly and weigh a lot. 1x drivetrains with trigger shifters keep shifting simple, further reducing the overall weight. All components are as light and child-focused as possible. The flip-flop stem and spacers allow for growth, extending the life of the bike.
