Waking up on the ground beside your pad is one of camping's more frustrating experiences, and the NEMO Quasar 3D addresses that directly with a body-mapped baffle design that keeps you centred through the night.
The 3D baffles are gently curved and contoured to the shape of a sleeping body rather than running in straight parallel lines, creating a cradling effect that resists the tendency to roll off to one side. A slightly elevated head baffle acts as a soft headboard, helping a camp pillow stay in place rather than migrating across the tent floor. The 30D polyester ripstop shell is made from 100% post-consumer recycled materials and carries bluesign certification, making the Quasar NEMO's first ever bluesign certified sleeping pad. The fabric conforms well to the body and has a noticeably comfortable feel against skin, a meaningful detail for warmer nights when you're sleeping directly on the pad.
Inflation is handled by the included Vortex pump sack paired with NEMO's Laylow zero-profile micro-adjustable valve, allowing fast setup and precise firmness adjustment without blowing moisture into the pad.
