A dependable full-size portage pack doesn't need to be complicated, and the Tripper keeps its focus on doing the fundamentals exceptionally well.

At 70 litres in the main body with an attic cuff that brings total capacity up to just over 105 litres, the Tripper carries a full multi-day canoe tripping load with room to spare. The 1000-denier nylon construction and double-layer bottom are built for rocky trails and repeated use across many seasons. Padded shoulder straps with an adjustable sternum strap handle the carry, and a removable 2-inch webbing hip belt lets you shift load weight when your shoulders need a break on a longer portage. Seven handles across the front, back, and sides make it easy to move the pack in and out of the canoe from any angle.

The large zippered lid pocket opens cleanly even under a fully tensioned load, which is a small detail that saves real frustration on the water. Daisy chains on the lid give you lash points for extra gear, and the expandable attic cuff handles overflow without compromising the main compartment. All handles, shoulder straps, and hip belt connection points are reinforced where it matters. A standard tumpline is available as an optional add-on for paddlers who prefer that style of carry.
