Seachem Matrix Carbon pouches for the Tidal 35, 55, 75 and 110 Power Filters are supplied pre-bagged in Seachem Zip Bags, which feature durable seams and a corrosion-resistant zipper.
Matrix Carbon is a truly unique activated carbon. It is formed as a spherical bead for optimum hydrodynamics, and will not pack. It permits maximum water flow and contact with its high density of macroporous binding sites allowing it to remove dissolved organics. Seachem Matrix Carbon has a very low ash content as indicated by its minimal impact on pH and has the lowest detectable leachable phosphate content of al major carbon brands.
Rinse before use. Do not remove Matrix Carbon from its mesh bag. Lay mesh bag lengthways and distribute Matrix Carbon evenly before placing it in the Tidal filter basket below any biological filtration media.
